# My tv won't turn on with the remote control

And Best Buy is offering a Toshiba 50 inch tv for $209.

I’d stay away from the bargain basement no-name obscure brands just to save $30-40 dollars.

My parents used to have a 35" Sony CRT tabletop model that must have weighed 300 pounds in the family room so when it came to get a flatscreen LCD, I insisted they get it from Best Buy, precisely because they would take the old thing away. I didn’t want to have to try to do that ourselves.

I hope you or your parents, respectively, tipped the TV delivery guys a bit extra, because such a monster shouldn’t be their everyday business anymore.

This was at least a decade ago and I wasn’t there for the delivery so I have no idea what they were tipped.
