Saturday I received an email purportedly from AT&T informing me that “We have discovered that your AT&T account passcode has been compromised, therefore we have proactively reset your passcode.” When I went to my AT&T Uverse account I was able to log in using my ID & password with no problem, so I figured that this was a phishing attempt and I forwarded it to their fraud department.
Pretty much every browser that’s not based on Firefox (Gecko) and Safari (WebKit), is a version of Chrome (Chromium). So if they’re optimized for Chromium then it probably works fine for Edge as well. It’s still lazy web support for a megacorp but not uncommon.
Can’t you just pay through your bank’s bill pay though? Then you don’t even need to use their website unless you need to check usage etc.
