We had a fairly traditional Easter, Pepper Mill, our 3 1/2 year old daughter MilliCal, and I. We colored eggs. We had an Easter Egg Hunt. We went to the Zoo and saw the Easter Bunny and stuff.

But there was one feature that was a little weird. We saw “WAlking with Dinosaurs” on the Discovery channel on Saturday, and MilliCal (who has a dinosaur love every bit aqs bad as mine was) watched it attentively. Especially the part about the Mommy T. Rex. The next day, she took out all of her orange plastic Easter Eggs, piled them in a “nest”, and curled up “asleep” on the chair nearby to watch them.

“What are you doing?” I asked.

“Shhhh…” She admonished. “I’m a mommy Allosaur. That’s my nest.”

She definitely has my genes.

Sure beats having to work over the Easter break like we had to. Glad someone had a good time though.
