She will be working in the day care at a ladies only health club. 7.5 hours a week and she’s very excited about it. She really wanted to work at the Y, but they’re not hiring. This is almost as good. The kids can go with her and, after a month, her free membership starts (this is the important part). After the two kids, her body has _changed_, and she wants the old one back! I tell her she looks great, she gives me a look that says, “you’re sweet, now shut up”. So, she’ll be able to workout, go to Jazzercise, whatever she wants. And she’ll get paid a little bit, too. It’s a win-win-win. We have some friends who were in the same situation (wife working part-time at the Y), and it seemed to work well for them. Anyone else try this kind of thing? ---

Obviously, everyone can’t do this or else there wouldn’t be an customers to support people like your wife. She has found a niche that she’s happy with. More power to her. 😉 ---

Just talked to her again. She actually not that excited. In fact, I’d almost describe her as not being happy about it. And it was all her idea. But I’ll support whatever decision she makes, and whatever she changes her mind to. Cause that’s the kind of guy I am. 😉
