Shortly after I got my Wii, I started having hardware issues…the screen would occasionally be covered with shimmery green pixels, and the disc drive started presenting inconsistent errors. I finally called Nintendo; they had me send it in for repair. They ended up replacing it though. Fortunately, all the problems are fixed (the disc drive on this one is so quiet!) and I didn’t lose any data, but my console number changed.
