When I saw the spelling [one of my favorite novels](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Master_and_Margarita) immediately came to mind (I even thought of making a personal allusion to it, but didn’t want to get too personal.) Yet Googling just now I see that the English translation of _The Master and Margarita_ uses the ordinary spelling. :dubious: ---
