> So there exists 3 possibilities in my opinon.
>
> Texcat and gnarly are wolf/wolf, and the masonry is a ploy to keep them alive til end game. They weren’t either targeted for night kills because they are wolves. This is probably the most unlikely of my possibilities.
>
> They are wolf/villager. Neither of them were killed because as long as the wolf is still alive in the masonry, the masonry is corrupt and beneficial to the wolves. The wolves will gain information from the village mason(s) and may be able to influence the village mason(s) to make moves that hurt the village.
>
> They are both village masons, and were targeted. Except they were also targeted by villagers with pro-village powers (such as a doctor) and were sparred from death. A village power (IE roleblocker, redirector or randomizer) could have also targeted a wolf who tried targeting a village mason, so the shot was diverted or failed.

There is a fourth possibility, but it doesn’t really matter since it involves both of them being town. That possibility is that scum decided that Inner Stickler was as good as confirmed because of the late run of votes on him at the end of the Day and that he was a better kill than either mason as he was less likely to be targeted by a pro-town protection.

I said it before and I will say it again, if option two is true, then I have no use for this game. I refuse to consider it. If that means the game is lost then so be it. It’s a horrible design flaw. If option 1 is true it’s still early in the game and not many people know what their powers do yet, they won’t survive and we have 2 scum waiting to die for us. I almost hope they are both scum, it would mean town has essentially killed 4 scum in 2 Days.

I don’t know why” ( **NAF1138** , Post 1108) and “I also enjoyed some kindness last Night” ( **septimus** , Post 1179). septimus later reiterated “I’ll mention again that I felt protected last Night” (Post 1771). It might be worthwhile for each of them to check their PMs to see what the verbiage actually was.

I feel healthy. Just healthy. The quite was an addition I made because I like the word quite.

On the gun question and who did what.
On nioght one we had two hits with colour (the shooting and te pisioning) and two kills without a cause (guri and Silman were just listed as dead)

Today we have a shooting and brewha being poisoned and two kills without a cause of death.

If we assume both colourless kill were scum that would make InnerSticklers kill a non scum kill. Can’t understand why a pro town role would hit IS, unless of course scum have a redirector and figured out who was the vig if tehre was one, who was their likely target and were happy to risk that. Seams quite convoluted through.

Cracked, don’t forget the central conceit of this game – whoever got Guiri’s gun probably did not know that they had it prior to targeting Inner (and may not even be certain of it now). With redirector(s) at play it’s not even necessarily true that they targeted Inner at all. Between those two things I think my initial “blech” may have been misplaced. But regardless – a net swing of two kills per night from village to mafia is immensely more ridiculous as a mechanic IMO than a simple backup role.

It also arguably makes more sense for the mafia to have NOT killed Inner than to have killed him, but that depends a lot on where the scum votes were, and as much as brewha continues to ping (PIS on something you’re arguing against, really?), that isn’t certain yet.

@ Lightfoot – I’d lay odds you got Inner’s night one result nailed, in DanceCat. And I would like to see Blaster’s posts, if you have the time.

@ Zeriel – I would like to see your actual case against Silver Jan.

@ scathach – In your response to Drain Bead you’re not responding to the issue (at least as I see it), which is first saying you _don’t_ find Blaster scummy, then the next time you post, saying, essentially that you like his lynch OK (like it better than some others) but prefer to vote for someone else. The endorsement of Blaster’s lynch was inconsistent with your previous statement and looks like you’re trying to have it both ways.

You know what, I should probably point out that strangely and this morning were sort of editorial comments in my post. I don’t know if it will make a difference, but it couldn’t hurt.

Neta: If I was scum I would have killed **Inner** just to throw dissension among the ranks. That way everyone is looking at who voted for **Inner** and it might not even have been a Wolf.

It was in the original mystery mash. There was an 8 person masonry, 7 villagers and one wolf. Given the smaller player pool here I’d imagine a masonry is smaller (maybe 4 players tops), but there very well could be a wolf mason. Don’t just cry foul and refuse to believe it. It isn’t even a design flaw, masonries are a very powerful pro-villager tool, and they become more valuable in a game where no one knows their powers. One way to balance a masonry in a game like this is to put a wolf in the mix.

Putting a wolf into the mix is anti-game and tends to break the game in favor of scum and while it isn’t always horrible particularly in the insanely large games you have over on POG in any smaller game it gives the scum such a large edge as to be almost impossible for the town to overcome it.

\*\*Ben \*\*told us that someone had ‘charged’ his power, granting him a second target for Night 2. Are you claiming that someone was you?

yes. I wouldn’t have known it except that at Dawn this morning, aside from ffeling healthy, I was given a complete role PM with my power outlined.

To expand. Putting in a wolf mason without any mechanism to allow the masonry to know that it might be infiltrated by wolves is, in my mind, equivalent to putting a jester in the game. It turns game play on its head to the point where I can’t actually care about the game anymore because the game was set up against the players to start with.

That’s something, **ed**. I’m curious how you know your power worked. But I doubt you can answer that without disclosing your power, so I’ll just have to wallow in my curiosity. (AOP, Plank is asking a specific form of the same question.)

I’m also curious why you targeted me. Was it my D1 behavior, or did you have some other reason?

Because maybe the pro town role didn’t know they were now a Vig? (AOP: Normal Phase says much the same thing.)

A I’m sure you’re aware now if you’ve read, I was informed what my power was. You described the effect of my power. So I know it worked.

I think I was mildly pinged by you on Day 1, but so much has happened since then, I can’t recall why off the top of my head and am unwilling to do research as I sit at my desk and sweat since we don’t have air conditioning.

Assume for the moment that a Scum Mason does exist in the game. What then makes you so sure there is no mechanism for the rest of the Masons to discover the Wolf in their midst?

“Multiple people” appear to have killed **Dancecat**. Should we draw from this that once again multiple kills were directed at a single player?
