Yes, I confused her by logging in as Suburban Plankton, creating a list, and then acting confused when I didn’t understand that she saw through my evil 3rd party ploy!

See? He just admitted to being a third party!

He thinks making it sound sarcastic will make people think “Haha, he’s not being serious”. Don’t be fooled…it’s a double reversal fooling!

We were also told that third parties might be in this game, with no guarantees of their side.

First we kill all the Wolves. Then if the game isn’t over we’ll consider who could be a PFK third party. Just because you’re claiming Ed is a third party doesn’t mean nobody else is.

It sounds like NAF’s role is more like a power stealer. Is that the same as “mimic” (I have not heard that term before this game)?

I think we’ve established that you’re actually talking to me (or at the very least my special-ed-controlled doppelganger), but I’m still not sure what you’re trying to say.

I think thee color indicating “multiple people” killing Dancecat on Night 2 is because that was the Mason’s ‘group kill’. I’m somewhat concerned that there is no color on Night 3 indicating a similar ‘group kill’. Are you saying that we should only have expected the color on the first Night that the Mason’s had their kill (as a signal to us that there was now another killing faction), and that subsequent Nights would therefore have no color?

If that’s what you were getting at, I can accept that. If that’s not what you were saying, then what do you think about the idea?

1. After having gone through this exercise to figure out “who killed who”, I’m not sure it’s all that important at the moment, since almost all of the killing powers seem to have been eliminated already. Still, it’s information that could come in handy later in any case (assuming it’s correct).

2. Please ignore my atrocious use of apostrophes in my last post, as two of them were misplaced. 5 bonus points for anyone who knows which ones, and why.

I wouldn’t worry too much about defending yourself against it at this point. I intend to review your posts when I get a chance, and see if there isn’t something more substantive than your tone. I do think it’s a better vote for me than **idle** at this point, since that’s pretty much a lock. If there’s nothing more tangible than your tone, you don’t really have anything to worry about, now do you?

I don’t have anything to worry about at all, actually. I just like to respond to people who vote for me so when there wasn’t anything specific in your vote post, I felt the need to point that out. Plus, I just like when people talk to me!

Well, she might have to worry about blowing up because Idle is a bomb, something that shouldn’t worry someone with a one-off vote 😉

Looking again at some of the claimed actions:

**TimeLady** /\*\*pwnsall \*\*claims to have been blocked on Night 1
\*\*Idle \*\*claims to have been blocked Night 2

Of course, Idle also claims to have targeted \*\*Pizza \*\*on Night 2, but I’m more inclined to believe his earlier claims, before he was outed.

This suggests that someone should have been blocked on Night 3. Of course, depending on the power of the person being blocked, they may or may not know it at the time.
On Night 2, we have three incidences of redirects, if all are to be believed.

\*\*Ed \*\*claims to have targeted **bufftabby** , but appears to have been redirected to **NAF**. this is supported by both NAF’s and bufftabby’s statements.

\*\*LightFoot \*\*claims to have targeted **crackedquads** , but was redirected to **peeker**. this is supported only by my own claim, but I know that to be true (you’ll just have to take my word for it :))

**J.D.** claims to have been redirected. He knows this because it was told to him in his PM.

This last one troubles me. First, it means we have three redirectors, which seems like too many. Also, given the way powers seem to work in this game (one target per Night), it seems we ought to have an even number of roleblockers, who are probably ‘paired’ like the Mystics. In any case, there ought to have been people redirected on Nights 1 and 3 as well, and so far we have seen no evidence of that.

Now it’s entirely plausible that we have folks who have been redirected and that fact is not yet apparent. In fact, it seems that we have at least 4, and 6 if J.D. is to be believed. But if we believe J.D., then it would seem that 2 of those 6 people should have been \*told \*that they were redirected, and nobody else is claiming that. That suggests to me that J.D. is lying.

Another possibility is suggested by \*\*Silman’s \*\*‘Journalist’ role. His role stated “You will learn if your target’s night action has been changed, redirected, or blocked.” It’s therefore possible that J.D. targeted himself and was informed that he was redirected. But if that is the case, and his power mirrors Silman’s, then it is likely that his alignment does not.

**vote J.D.**

I don’t think \*\*Ed \*\*was redirected. **NAF had Ed** ’s power on Night 2.

Ah yes, i had forgotten about that. But actually, I think we may both be half right.

I think \*\*Ed \*\*\*was \*redirected, but perhaps not to **NAF**. He says he targeted **bufftabby** , but bufftabby claims to have had only one target last Night, so his power was not Doubled.

Or perhaps NAF isn’t a ‘Mimic’ after all, and Ed was redirected to him.

In any case, whether or not Ed was redirected doesn’t change what makes me suspicious of **J.D.** , so my vote stands.

Nice catch, **Sub Plank**. We have to reevaluate both of those claims.

A key part of **Idle** ’s “Hey! I’m betraying my own team! Lookit meeeee!” drama is his claim that he betrayed Episkey to PizzaGuy on N2. (Idle was pretty firm about that.) But if he earlier claimed to have been blocked on N2, then at least one claim is a lie.

AOP from my notes: Idle claimed in #2779 that he was blocked on N2, probably by Silver Jan (2774). So, **Idle** , if you really want us to believe you betrayed Episkey to PizzaGuy, please resolve this inconsistency.

On the other hand, I realized some things this morning. I was in a long boring meeting. If Idle is a Scum Traitor and Idle outed Episkey to PizzaGuy on N2, I have concluded from the whispered messages that NAF is also Scum. But there are two IFs in this, one of which we won’t know for certain until Idle gets lynched. I want to get my conclusion on the record Today.

I don’t believe I can make a convincing case for my conclusion Today. I hope to be able to do so Tomorrow. So for now, agree or disagree with my conclusion as you wish.

I tickled it above.
I think I’ve confused myself and others. I initially credited the ‘group’ kill to Scum. I guess I missed where there was more than one group kill in a night.
When I initially responded to your summation (through Ed-arg) I did not have – and don’t now- time to go back and check what I thought I remembered.

In closing, My rushed posts were no bloody help at all.

Never got the result I was blocked. **Septimus** , the cop, got a message from someone else (one of the random ones sent out among all the cops) that Janet was a roleblocker. After she said she targeted me, we figured this was another way to get Town cred.
