3 PM cannot get here fast enough. I won’t be here for it–will likely be in trial this afternoon, and then my husband is at an afternoon meeting in Cincinnati and won’t be getting home until about 7PM at least (he might not come home before going out with a buddy whose divorce is being finalized today). Speaking of which, gotta go give said buddy moral support (working in domestic relations and juvenile court has its benefits). Lates. ---

Collard greens are teh yumz, but kale is even better. And Brussels sprouts rule all other vegetables. I have spoken. ---

Chard is better than kale. And beet greens, practically the same thing. Mmm. ---

I don’t know that I’ve ever tried beet greens. Generally when we buy beets we get only the root. For some reason, I’m now craving salad. ---

I don’t think I had ever eaten beet greens since my kidhood, when we had a huge garden. But we planted a few beets this year in our little garden out back – good stuff. And closely related to chard, hence the comment. ---
