No… This was years ago, before the Sci-Fi years. I have that one on video and she didn’t recognize it.

I just watched **Sidehackers** the other night, and while it will never replace **Jack Frost** in my heart, it’s one of the best episodes I’ve ever seen. (Granted, I’ve missed like everything that happened before Sci-Fi.)

BUt I loved it.

**Battleship Earth** that_is_ that horrible Travolta abhoration isn’t it? I seem to have a bit of a mental block on many details about it (mercifully) should definitely be MSTed if only it were possible.

It’s hard to narrow down favorites but **Manos** and **Prince of Space** are at the top of my list.

I’m squarely on the fence about the Joel/Mike issue of superiority. I agree that the fact of their very uniqueness and sense of the truly absurd was the key to their respective success.

Battlefield Earth. Not that the title makes a difference in the suckiness thereof.

“My father was a master bat hunter. I guess that makes me Bat Masterson.”

“He’s posing for the dollar.”

“You’re such a guanno-head.”

The title was actually “It Lives By Night,” although I’ve seen it called “The Bat People” on the sci-fi channel’s website. Great episode.

“Hey, squeak you, man.”

“I think I just guanoed my pants!”

(After the sherrif gets beaten up by the half-man, half-bat) “How am I going to report _this_? This is worse than the time I got jumped by that gang of field mice. I knew I shouldn’t have slept my way through small mammal wrestling at the academy.”

I always liked _The Final Sacrifice_. Who the hell names their kid Zap, especially when you have a name like Rowsdower?

“You shot me in the butt! What the hell, you shot me in the butt!”

“And God bless Grandpa, and Gramma, and all my evil henchmen…”

“So what happened to my dad?”
“I jerked him!”
“You know what happened to him?”
“He was delicious!”

And then everyone but Mike comes down with a bad case of Hockey Hair?

Seriously funny shit!

“Ooooooooooh! I made you some trail mix out of rat droppings and hair!”

“We might be able to go faster if you dumped that 50 pounds of ground pork…oh, wait, that’s your butt.”

“You know it’s spring when the executioners start getting in the house.”

“He was made in the image of an egg noodle!”

I’ll stop here. You’re welcome.

From the MST3K FAQ:

> [@](#):
>
> Q: Just what IS a hamdinger?
> A: Hamdingers (a pivotal plot element in the story of Joel’s escape in episode 512- Mitchell and mentioned again in episode 513- The Brain That Wouldn’t Die) are miniature microwavable sandwiches from the Swift-Premium folks, made out of processed ham…sort of spamburgers. Originally intended to be a quickie snack-meal item, they were extremely nasty and were/are most popularly used as fishbait.

The first episode I ever saw was “Samson and the Vampire Women” which consisted of the hero, a Mexican wrestler, getting beaten up by the villains for the entire movie and then just winning through stupid luck.

Vanyel, I’m glad you mentioned the DAP. Everytime I go there, I get confused by all the talk about ports and IRC and edonkeys, and run away. Maybe I should open another thread for hand-holding in the DAP.

Well, the first step is to read the faqs. If talk of IRC confuses you, then I recommend [this faq](http://www.dapcentral.org/modules.php?op=modload&name=FAQ&file=index&myfaq=yes&id_cat=12&categories=IRC+-+Part+3%3A+mIRC+and+You+-+A+Magical+Journey&parent_id=0), which I wrote a while back. It should get you started on setting up mIRC, which allows you to chat with members of the DAP. Once you get connected, if you still have problems, people will most likely be willing to help you out (unless your question is covered in one of the faqs, in which case you will be ridiculed).

EDonkey is covered in another faq, and it is the most popular way of sharing these files, but be sure to follow the rules exactly, because the server may automatically ban you if you have not.
