Jello is made by boiling bones. Maybe the OP misidentified a knee joint that needed to go back in the pot for a few hours. (Or a bonus prize! I bet it was a hoof). ---

And that, folks, is why they don’t do tours of the Jello factory. At least I’d swear I heard/read that somewhere, and it certainly makes sense, but I have no idea where I picked it up.
