# Mythbusters missing cannonball - did they ever find it?

I was thinking of posting the story of the time the Mythbusters called me up for help while they were planning their first season. I looked up the episode that concerned me and after refreshing my memory of the results, I started reading the various episode synopses on Wikipedia.
In the tree cannon episode from season one, they fired a one pound, hand carved stone cannonball. They couldn’t determine how far it went since they could not find it. The article mentions that every time they used that runway for a show, Jamie checked the bushes for the cannonball - for 9 years!! (presumably when this update was added).
So, did it ever turn up?
