I’ll put it in simple, small words so **Commissar** will get it. At least in theory.

There was recently an incident on the “border” between the two Koreas. People were killed. One side took incredible actions that hadn’t been seen in that area in almost half a century.

Because of this, there is a heightened level of media attention and awareness in the area. Because of this, there is much more scrutiny and “public statement” about anything in this area, especially things that are event tangentially related to the incident that led to the deaths.

I have never read about war games or training exercises in Canada, Mexico, Germany, the UK, Japan, South Africa, France, or a host of other nations that I know have militaries. I am also certain that these nations all partake in training exercises for their military (or, for Japan, Self Defense) forces.

In a NORMAL circumstance, war games are GENERALLY a non-news event.

If you didn’t understand what I was saying, when I said it, you should say so, so I can dumb down my statements. I have been crediting you with some fundamental sense that you appear to be lacking.

To get a good look of how North Korea looks today one needs to see the Vice guide to North Korea

> **[VICE - VICE is the definitive guide to enlightening information.](https://www.vice.com/en)**
>
> The definitive guide to enlightening information.

(And that is mostly the good side! At least the side allowed by the North Korean handlers driving the documentary guy around)

From that documentary I can notice how unrealistic was an item mentioned early in this or the other thread that affirmed that North Koreans are getting a lot of information with clandestine radio receivers or TV, so how does the dear leader prevent that flow of information from coming in?

Easy, you do not provide electricity to villages close to the border. In fact, there is virtually no electricity outside of the Capital of North Korea.

> **[North Korea is Dark](https://www.globalsecurity.org/military/world/dprk/dprk-dark.htm)**
>
> South Korea is bright, North Korea is dark. This amazing image is included in the standard US Department of Defense briefings on North Korea

It is as dark as Mordor.

He gets it.
He’s also trolling.
Feel free to savagely beat him with a cluebyfour, but keep in mind that you’re doing it for batting practice and not fighting ignorance. That way you shouldn’t be disappointed.

Actually, I see this as fighting ignorance in those who might be stupid enough to fall for Commie’s malarkey.

To be honest, I might have too high an opinion of the average Doper, but I don’t see anybody being persuaded by Commie’s nonsense, especially if they can see how he’s had his head savagely beaten all through this (and other) threads. Even without context, his trolling about “imperial fellatio puppets” and such, with its Pravda-speak and parroting of NK propaganda is enough to make him an auto-caricature.

Hell, this is the Dope, where even a half-baked idea can usually find at least a few people to support it. Other than an eighth-wit like Damuri, whose ‘support’ was pretty much only some tepid idiocy for another NK apologist and some impotent frustration at the fact that I usually show him to be an ignorant idiot, nobody has come forward to champion Commie’s schtick. I don’t see Commie leading a Doper Revolution any time soon, is all.

I think it’s more in line with the frustration one feels when you flush the toilet, and one little turd floats back to the surface. So you flush again…and again …and _AGAIN!_ Still the stubborn little turd keeps circling the drain, and just _won’t. flush. down._ So it becomes a mission… even if it involves recreating Project Thor from Legos™ and duct tape, _some_how that little turd Will. Get. Flushed!

[Speaking of frustration](http://www.koreatimes.co.kr/www/news/nation/2010/12/116_78720.html):

> [@](#):
>
> A train carrying gifts to celebrate the birthday of North Korean heir Kim Jong-un appears to have been sabotaged by opponents of the Stalinist regime, a radio station that broadcasts news into the North reported Monday.
>
> Open Radio for North Korea, citing a North Korean intelligence official, said a cargo train containing gifts to celebrate the occasion was derailed Dec. 11 on the way from the northern border town of Sinuiju to Pyongyang.
>
> “The railways here are outdated. But the tracks looked so badly damaged that it appeared they had been tampered with before the train was about to pass,” the official was quoted as saying.
>
> According to the source, eight of the train’s 40 cars derailed. They contained gifts such as watches and televisions to be given to officials on Kim’s birthday, which is believed to fall on Jan. 8.

Must be interesting times up in that there workers’ paradise, huh?

So now [North Korea has publicly executed two people for reading the leaflets that the South floats over the border](http://www.zeenews.com/news682856.html). What a paradise!
