I was thinking about my conduct in the Pit threads, those in which we most recently exchanged words. I was thinking how I still don’t think I’m wrong, and how I still disagree with you. Then I started thinking about how I handled the situation, and about some of the things I said, and about my conduct, and how I may have been wrong in that. So I went back and re-read some of the threads (see links). And I decided that indeed, my conduct was reprhensible, and the way I handled the situation was not on par with who I am. Anyway, I wish to make a public and sincere apology to Nacho4Sara. I also wish to include peppelandgirl, Sassy, and Diane, as I feel I may have affected them with my behaviour. Or mis-behaviour, as it were. I hope that we can see past this, and I would like to reiterate that I don’t think I was wrong in my point or my motives, but that I was wrong for the way I conducted myself, and in the way I handled the situation, and some of the things I said. So, that being said, let me just say again: I was wrong. I am sorry. I hope you can forgive me, one way or another. You said some things that make a lot of sense, and I ignored them like a shmuck. Aw, Lexi, Lexi, Lexi…Criminently, babe, I don’t see that there’s anything to apologize for. Um, let’s see now, what exactly happened here? One person who’d had a bad day took a comment in a Pit thread the wrong way, flew off the handle, started another Pit thread about something that was only vaguely related to the intent of the original comment, a bunch of other people joined in… In other words, it’s Business As Usual in the BBQ Pit. So what else is new? It’s sweet of you to worry about people’s feelings, really, and as long as you’re here apologizing for things, how about an “I’m sorry” for Madonna’s cover of “American Pie”, the death of the beluga whale at the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, and slavery? ---

Well, I am hurt. Lexicon is always getting on my case, pointing out speling errosr and the much grammar mistakes I makes. He also calls me all sorts of weird names. Mostly in the Pit, sure, but here as well. And am I in his Apology List? No. Apparently, it is perfectly acceptable to bash Clog Boy. _sigh_ ---
