Nails on a chalkboard and styrofoam are fine and dandy. Whistling. I have had fantisies at my last two jobs of owning the company just to fire these couple of SOB’s that make me want to cringe and then beat the ever loving stot out of them hearing their breath exhale in gasps and rattles instead of that piercing tuneless shreik. Here’s something else to think about, chewing on tinfoil. ---

When people preface every spoken sentence with the sound of their lips opening; sort of like a kissing sound, i.e., _tsk_ “Blah-blah-blah-blah. _tsk_ Blah-blah-blah? Blah-blah.”. Euugh. ---

squishing eyeballs are guaranteed to make me leave the room. how do people do that? my boss rubs his eyeballs all the time, along with my husband and they manage to make this squicky noise that freaks me right out. that and chewing on wooden popsicle sticks, my teeth feel weird just thinking about it. Oh, and cracking knuckles or any other part of your anatomy, ick, along with chewing open mouthed, constant sniffing. ---

Steel wool - scraping anything but especially metal. **But only if I’m the one doing it**. Watching someone else doesn’t phase me in the least. ---

My worst are: Rubbing smooth finish (the fancy kind) paper napkins together in your fingers. Even thinking about it sends a severe shiver down my spine. Also, touching unfinished porcelein is pretty bad. Not in the same category (it doesn’t make me squirm or shiver, but it totally grosses me out)…I can’t stand to touch wet paper…it revolts me. It goes back to the only time I made paper mache when I was 8 and I threw up. I just can’t touch soggy paper. Ugh, bad, ick.
