I was showing a friend of mine around my new place, and she marvelled at the amount of space there, for one person, asking “What do you do, just strip down and run around naked?” Naturally, I replied “You’d like to believe that” with a grin, because such is my way. I’m aware that this has been discussed here before - but I’m too lazy to do heavy research; it surprised me to learn a couple people I know actually _do_ just run around their house naked. I must say, I like the idea, but the purpose here is to find out just how common a practice it is. And whether or not anybody does it, who doesn’t live alone? So 'fess up. Do you frolic at home in the altogether? ---

Married with a dog, 2 cats and yes, of course we do. Why not? We live in a huge place, and in the mornings and evenings it’s not uncommon to catch a naked Phlosphr looking for that lost pair of trousers etcv…etc… Do I actually do work, chores, etc…e.tc… in the nude? No… Shorts and no shirt yes. I live in an oven (Phoenix) what do you expect? ---

Only when there is someone who admires and appreciates the view. Otherwise I keep the A/C set too cold in the summer and heat too low in the winter. ---

My husband and I often walk around the house naked. Since both of us have home offices, sometimes we work naked, too. It’s a good thing that videophones are not the norm. ---

I would say that in our house naked is not the norm, nor is it extraordinary. Clothes or no clothes, whatever works at the moment. I was going to say the cats don’t care, but they actually prefer us to wear clothes, because they don’t like touching bare human skin with their delicate little footy pads. ---

I currently live alone except for the cat, and we both are without clothing frequently. I have pretty much always lived in oven climates, and see no reason to wear clothes except in public or for safety reasons (cooking, chores, etc.). None of my GFs has ever seemed to mind, and a few of the GFs have felt the same as me. All of the cats seem to feel the same, even forgoing clothing when we have company over. 😃 ---

My cats are the same way, **featherlou**. I’m usually naked for 45 minutes or so after my shower, but I don’t take my clothes off just to go around naked. In other words, if I’m getting naked for some reason already, I’ll walk around naked, but I don’t just walk around naked for the hell of it. (engaged, two cats, one dog) ---

I might stay naked for awhile after a shower or after sex, but as a general rule I don’t just lounge around naked. It just seems kinda weird. And despite my love for his body, I would prefer my fiance keep clothes on most of the time as well. There are things I don’t want to be seen doing naked, and same with him. It just wouldn’t be attractive. ---

I spend a lot of time wandering around the house naked or not fully dressed. The first thing to come off when I get home from work is my pants. Yes, I pull them off over my shoes. Lately I’ve been remembering to keep a pair of shorts near the front door in case someone rings the doorbell and need to put on clothes fast. Being able to walk around naked is one of the main reasons I was eager to buy my own house. ---

I routinely walk around with just undies and a pair of shorts on, except during the winter, when I go outside, or when we have company(which is rare). I usually don’t walk around naked though. ---

My boyfriend walks around the house bare-ass naked, I wear clothes. I’ve gotten used to it over the years, and honestly, if I let it bother me I’d have gone crazy by now. He doesn’t try to make me run around naked, and I only insist he wears shorts when he’s sitting on my desk chair. 😛 ---

If we are alone, we might. If the kids (well, just one now) spend a night or a weekend at a friend’s house, or when they go back East for the summer, we’ll go without clothes for a little while here and there. Every now and then we’ll camp in a remote enough location (again, when without kids) to go without clothes for a couple of hours around the campfire. It just feels nice. In our bedroom, pretty much once the door is shut for the night, we’re both naked for the night. ---

The hubby and I both sleep naked (when I have my period, I wear panties to bed), and it doesn’t bother us a bit to stay naked for a bit after showers. If our little one needs some Tylenol or something in the middle of the night, I don’t put on a robe or anything before I get it for her. But we don’t hang around naked, no. Our little one (five years) likes to take her clothes off and run around naked; sometimes I make her put clothes on, sometimes not. Our teenager, OTOH (14 years) is very much a prude; she sleeps in full pajamas and everything, even in the hottest part of summer. ---

At home, I usually lounge in long flannel pyjama pants or undies, depending on the weather. Nothing on top, unless I have company. My boyfriend will go naked until I make him put on clothes. Which isn’t often, because I enjoy the view 🙂 ---

I sleep in boxers and will walk around in boxers when I can. I’m not as trim as I used to be, so I’m less inclined to go shirtless most of the time. When I had my own apartment at college, me and my roommate rarely wore a shirt. But then, we could rarely afford air conditioning. After a shower I’ll stay naked 'til I’m dry. ---
