Just saw one on my FB feed. “Name a word that starts with ‘P’ and ends with ‘Y’. 97% of people can’t do it!” Apparently, 97% of people are morons. It is, of course, a form of chain letter to see how many knuckleheads will respond to it. ---

It’s not even just likes. Engagement counts, too. The more engagement a Facebook post has, the more it gets spread. And then, the more your stuff gets spread, the more future posts get spread. So it works just like the likes mentioned earlier. I’m not sure if they get any non-public data from simply replying, though. ---
