Good: Pot is now legal CA, although I hardly ever partake anymore. And we’re the 10% part of the country that isn’t freezing. Bad: My federal income taxes just went up biggly! ☹ ---

Bad: Cold, Damn Cold! (can’t go anywhere) Good: New Dyson heater works good, got some new xbox games and no work tomorrow, and plenty of chinese food in the fridge. This year is starting out wee bit better. ---

Bad: last night my son puked in the bathroom sink. It wouldn’t go down as it was too chunky, so I had to bail it out by hand (and bare handed, I have no gloves) with a large cup and a large pot, then pour it into the toilet. Urk! ---

This past Tuesday: Good: Cashed a check from a Craigslist buyer; nice guy, good experience. Bad: Drove the 25 miles to my allergist’s for shots, only to discover there was a fire in the building, they were closed and wouldn’t be re-opening any time soon–their other office is 20 miles further on. ---

Good: A sweet little orange cat who had been making herself at home in my place up to a week ago, then vanished, showed up again today, none the worse for wear. Bad: She isn’t a stray as she now has a collar and name tag. She came in, ate kibble, tried to trip me while polishing my shins, then left and hasn’t been back. Greedy, ungrateful little bastard!
