So is anybody familiar with the movie [Palindromes](http://imdb.com/title/tt0362004/)? The main character (Aviva- a palindrome of course) is played by a different actress in each scene. I haven’t seen it but was told of it today and thought of this thread.

**The Lion King** : Simba was voiced by Johnathan Taylor Thomas, and Matthew Broderick. Also pretty much every character that sang had a different singing voice.

I know all the flashbacks are fake, but the Soze-hunting Hungarians are real, as is the 93-million-dollar informant. The film’s opening scene, where a mysterious man pisses out a fire and then shoots Keaton, is _not_ a flashback.

Ohhhh. You’re right.
Nevermind. I’ll just go now.

Similarly, [The Crow](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0109506/?) was completed after Brandon Lee died on set.

What the heck are you and **Clothahump** talking about? I looked all through those credits for _A League Of Their Own,_ and didn’t see a single double-cast character.

Except for Geena Davis and Lori Petty, the elderly versions of the characters were all played by somebody else. I’d heard that they were played by actual baseball players from the women’s league, but I wouldn’t bet the rent on it.

Except for [Geena Davis](http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0142187/bio) and [Lori Petty](http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0125002/), you say?

Thanks for pointing that out. I’d missed the “older” adjective in my first pass through the credits.

Directed by Todd Solondz (_Welcome to the Dollhouse, Happiness_), I don’t think it’s been released yet (but it will be shortly, presumably on the arthouse circuit, mostly).

In Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, the nun at the aquarium is played by 2 different actresses. Note how she goes from young, tall, and skinny to old, short, and plump and then back again in one scene.

In Dodgeball Patches O’Houlihan is played by Rip Torn and Hank Azaria.

In Body Double Melanie Griffith plays a porn star who plays the neighbor who is played by Deborah Shelton.

And in Shallow Hal, There is indeed a body double for Gwyneth Paltrow – she’s in the fat scenes where you see her skin but not her face. Can’t pull that off with a body suit. There are a number of other double castings in that movie as well, with all the pretty/ugly people.

Thought of another one: In _ **Fallen** _, serial killer Edgar Reese comes back to life as a body-possessed spirit who goes on to inhabit the bodies of over a dozen different actors throughout the movie.
