People who tell me to “eat a cheeseburger” because I’m naturally thin. I don’t see how this is any different than telling a fat person to lay off the Cheetos. ---

As long as you are _moving_ forward when the light turns red (and do not stop before you’ve left the intersection), you’re cool. ---

Since everyone is offended by the downsizing instead of uppricing of groceries, so I thought I’d mention this here. A large tub of Blue Bonnet margarine, emblazoned on the lid “Still 45 ounces”. In other words, we haven’t insulted your intelligence by sneakily making the same-priced container smaller. But we do insult your intelligence by asking you to believe there was never a 3-pound tub, it’s always been 45 ounces, and we’d never do anything like that. ---

I’m driving in the fast lane, and someone from the slow lane moves over and cuts me off . . . but keeps going at the slow lane speed. I’ve come damn close to hitting people (and their cars) because of this. ---

Many of the posts sound more like “things that piss me off” rather than offensive. My example would be a situation that happened last week. An acquaintance said to me in front of a group of people “Oh yes, I know your brothers” in a very snarky tone of voice as if they were some kind of losers (they aren’t). I was very offended. I didn’t get really pissed off until later. ---

People calling me a “pet parent” or our cat a furbaby. Pentecostal Christians assuming that, because I was raised in Pentecostal church, I still “really” believe in its teachings. Parents of young children who own guns but do not keep them locked up. ---
