People who park in handicapped parking spots without the necessary plate/placard offend me. I fully get it that not all disabilities are readily visible. That’s why I leave it up to you, your doctor, and the DMV to sort out getting a handicapped plate or placard. I I see the plate or placard I’ll assume you are using that space because it is needed. But if you park in a handicapped space without the necessary plate/placard I’ll assume you are being a jerk. ---

My pet peeve is a colleague who buys into the Oprah Crap about “manifesting your dreams” through positive thinking and whatever the Hell that “cut words and images out of magazines and glue 'em to a poster board” woo woo is called.\* I don’t care what you do with scissors and glue in the privacy of your own home, but please shut up about it and please learn the difference between correlation and causality. \*Just realized that this Prime Oprah Directive is a clever marketing tool – ding dongs probably source their art project from subscriptions to “O.” ---

The only thing I can think of, besides what **kam** mentioned, is the very few times in my life that I’ve actually seen people litter. It’s so ingrained in our culture to never even consider it, that seeing someone so casually just disregard the law and convention, kinda makes me want to slap them silly. How lazy must one be to forego waiting until they find a trash can? ---

A very well-dressed businesswoman-type was standing, like, three feet from the wastebasket you often find at bus stops, and she just dropped the bag from some chips right where she stood. I very slowly and deliberately walked right towards her, undoubtedly got in her personal space a little bit while bending down to slowly pick up the bag at her feet, and then walked to the wastebasket and dropped it in with great care. I went back to where I had been standing and stared at her til she looked away. Seriously, how can you end up working in some frou frou office if you grew up in a barn? ---

That’s absolutely hideous - never heard of fairway carney activity in a mall before. Is it a growing trend? Almost curious enough to start a thread to inquire. Not that I patronize malls - lol certainly all the more reason to avoid if it eventually happens where I am. Interesting that in all my almost 52 years I’ve never seen anyone holding a door open - for anyone, that is - so that the door-holder is reaching over top, forcing the “walk-through-er” to walk underneath the door holder’s arm, which I’m guessing (considering I’ve never seen it done before) would be a somewhat narrow, and um, creepy-as-fuck space? ---

Take a bow. In addition, this particular mall has rather narrow aisles, the teens/YAs only know how to walk four-abreast, so there’s no way to get around them to escape the shills–who are practically upon you without even trying. This is a rather upscale mall in a rather upscale community; the other mall near me–in the opposite direction–is doing so badly that I couldn’t tell you if there is a trend developing. I’d contribute to your thread, if you started one. But I don’t see this going away any time soon. ---

Religious people who praise God for a good outcome to a bad event. e.g Person xyz was raped, beaten half to death and thrown in a dumpster and left to die. We found her three days later still alive after God told us where to find her. Praise the Lord!! Why didn’t God tell you three days ago where she was or, even better, stop the assault from happening in the first place? ---

Nothing of words actually offends me per say. Only their behaviors can offend me. Like watching grown adults act like children is one of the offenses that bothers me more than most. It’s just disturbing and sad, especially if they have kids or are around kids when they behave that way. The religious zealots don’t offend me, but rather they annoy me but then again I think most people probably annoy me to some extent if I have to be around them very much. ---
