I had a pup named ā€œPup.ā€ He died of distemper. It was very sad. But you can have the name if you want. Also, given your screen name, Bird Dog might be a cute name. ---

Well Iā€™m hoping to get the male, their are 3 females so chances are Iā€™ll end up with one of them. B3ut the male is the runt and I like the underdog!!! Hey UNDERDOG!! thatā€™s got a ring too it. Iā€™ve seen some great names so far, has anyone in here ever or currently have a Golden, like their temperment? Easy to train, and insider things i should know? ---

We had a (mostly) golden retriever named Rusty when I was very young. He was extremely sweet and even tempered with us kids who liked to use him as a stepstool. Never snapped at us once, as I remember. He was also fairly stupid, which isnā€™t necessarily a bad thing, since smarter dogs seem to find more ways to get in trouble. How about a name with a chemistry bent; Feo, short for Fe2O3, which is the chemical name forā€¦rust. ---
