# Name of old circa 1970 comic strip featuring two beach bums?

An old comic strip I used to read many years ago came to my mind today but  
I can’t recall the name of it. It ran late 60s to early 70s and featured two  
beach bums - one tall and thin the other short and a bit stout. The characters  
seemed to spend most of the time hanging out at the beach, avoiding work  
and chasing girls.

What was the name of this strip?

Found it. The strip was called “The Dropouts” and ran 1968 - 1991.
