Okay, my son is the assistant manager of, refs at, and plays on a team at the local indoor soccer arena, and I have his password to his on-line management software! So I took a look and here are some of the local team names:
Chupacabras
Clockwork Orange
Getting Better
Holy Rollers
mutch pain (don’t know if the misspelling was intentional)
Off the Wall
Recycled Parts
Salty Dogs
SLEEP TIGHT
spare parts
The Other Team
Too Old Too Slow
Whole Dang family
You Wish
And of course, there was the usual “Premier” and “Manchester United” and “Lobos” and “jaguars”.
I like “The Other Team” the best of that list. There have been cuter/funnier ones in past seasons, but these are pretty good, I think.

Two team names from my past: a friend of mine was on an intramural football team in college. They were called **The Team Formerly Known As Prince**.
And when I competed in a skeet shooting competition, my partner and I called ourselves **Stop Or My Team Will Shoot**.
