Two more hints for some of the more obscure ones: Coco, Denise & Simone (hint: Coco was also Chris Gaines) (Madame) Hortense: the actress who played her won an Oscar for the role (though wasn’t famous) and later reprised the role in 1980s B’way musical strarring Anthony Quinn) ---

Three young contestants were teamed with old French whores to answer Jeopardy style questions; the other two old French whores were skanky and drugged, but Coco was refined, intelligent, and had once been the personal concubine of General Rommel. (Best line of the sketch was when a player not teamed with Brooks/Coco remarked “I think my whore’s dead…”). ---
