This is my first ever SQUEEEEEEEE! The only thing cuter than the puppy is the little boy. (Mine is all growed up.) I was not prepared for the adorableness of that link. All good names went right out of my head. But I do like the idea of naming him after the Invisible Friend. (since he will be perpetrating all the mayhem for awhile anyway!) ---

Even if “atomic badger racing” is out, couldn’t you just go with Badger? Easy for a kid with a lisp (though it may sound like bajjer), easy for you to say in a high pitched voice, and manly enough to keep the boy happy. ---

I wrote one nice post with quotes and tags and jokes and links and everything. It disappeared into the mists of time. Jury is seriously still out on second puppy or no. Its the 4 year old who wants to name the puppy “Dog” I like Sam and Max a lot (and now want to read/see/ whatever the originals…I like that kind of thing) but have a co worker/close friend/ business partner named Sam. Doesnt feel right. We liked Kenny for a while last night, until we remembered its the name of the kid who cuts my grass in the summer. The boyfriend used to have Huskies, and named them Russian names for dog or wolf or something. Thats kind of cool, but this is a little boy’s dog. Lightening McQueen is a name that is well liked by one memember of the household, but it doesnt really roll of the tongue. I always favoured naming dogs after literary characters, mythology or something, but somehow this dog doesnt seem like he should be named soemthing that is an esoteric high brow joke. I really hate naming by committee. ---

Thank you for all your suggestions… The dog is named…BENDER! Which is hilarious because my son came up with that by rhyming… fender …sender…lender…Bender…ha ha ha ha ha The b/f and I looked at each other and grinned and we decided…no more names, Bender it is… ---
