# Name that song

This song was played all the time several years back. It was sung by a female artist. Basically the song was about a woman who dreamt every night about living in a fantasy world. I particularly remember it because it had strong fantasy imagery. Any ideas?

And here I was thinking it was another 1980s song, but I can’t really put my finger on its name. Something having to do with a 1920’s style death ray.
