Alas, though many sound familiar (and **NDP** took my guess of M_A_S\*H), I will offer some hints for mine: VP1: An _Associate Professor_ checks the sun to determine the time. VP2: A dinner guest, _a detective_, looks puzzled at his _tumbler_ of wine. VP3: A _wannabe dancer_ loses repeatedly at a slot machine. VP4: A former baggage handler discusses the weight capacity of a \*Louis Vuitton \*bag. ---

I see one of mine remains unanswered… A2:a male character is practicing his golf swing, a female character in skirt and heels shows him up, using his own club. I’ll add another small hint, this was not on a golf course.
