I’m sorry everybody, but I can’t STAND the name “Sparky”!!! (It may be because it’s an easy variation of my maiden name, and those god-dammed stuck-up bitches in junior high used to CALL ME by "C’mere, Sparky! Good dog. Ruff Ruff!!) Two syllable perky names are good for beagles. Snoopy is SO over-used (used to work in a vet clinic) - very cliche. I’ve always wanted to name a dog Edgar, though. I think maybe you should wait a day or two and try to get a feel for his personality though. While some dogs may make a fine “Buster,” others are just way too dignified for that. That’s when you need something cool like Cecil, Edgar, Max, etc. Just my long-winded two cents. 🙂 ---

He looks like a **Leonard** to me. If you are so inclined, that could be short for Leonard Nimoy or Leonard Cohen, though that’s not what I had in mind. ---
