I saw two girls yesterday, both had the same appearance so I’m going to assume that their condition was genetic.

Not being judgmental, just curious.

One girl was riding a child-sized bike, the other was in a stroller. Smallness aside, I had the impression of greater age.

So - physical symptoms:

1. Stunted size, very small.
2. Dismorphic (I think that’s the right term): Body parts out of proportion- head seemed large for the body.
3. Prominent changes around the mouth. Either bone or thick tissue surrounding the mouth. The effect was, forgive me, very simian - chimpanzee-like.

I couldn’t tell race, they were both light skinned.

Any guesses?

[Achondroplasia](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Achondroplasia)?

That seems to be good for for the body shape but not the changes to the skull. I did a google image search and nearly everybody with this condition had an average face structure.
