OK, now that we’re 100 posts in, I will reveal my heretofore secret agenda. I sought (and still seek) movie spoilers for a bit of light verse I am writing entitled “Open Spoilers–DO NOT READ!!” So far, I’ve got twenty lines written, revealing the spoilers to twenty different films, but the frustrating part is that I’ve got a dozen more lines that I can’t get to rhyme with each other, so I’m hopeful that someone will spoil a few more films for me and supply me with some fresh material and a bit of inspiration. The poem, if I can call it that (it’s just a little silly verse), is below. Blurred, of course. Corrections, improvements, questions, comments welcome. Marty gets his parents dating. Gillis was the floating stiff. John Nash is hallucinating. Manson’s killers come for Cliff. Her ice pick lies beneath Nick’s bed. Luke is Princess Leia’s brother. Rosebud was young Charles Kane’s sled. Norman is his own dead mother. Keyser Soze is Verbal Kint. You and I are Soylent Green. The only one who dies is Quint. Walter Neff is Ned Racine. Clueless Luke is Vader’s son. The Soviet saboteur’s the chef. The President stays on Air Force One. Ned Racine is Walter Neff. Aaron’s the phony, the real one’s Roy. Noah Cross is Catherine’s dad. Surprise, Fergus! Your girl’s a boy. Brigid O’Shaughnessy is bad. ---

I’m still toying with changing that final line to “Mister Orange is a cop” after changing “Noah Cross is Catherine’s dad” to “Noah Cross is Catherine’s pop.” “Pop” sounds a bit off to describe Cross and Catherine, and I do want to work Brigid O’Shaughnessy in there somewhere. I go back and forth. ---
