I tend to like guys whose names end in the letter “n” like mine does; Ryan, John, Brandon, Dan etc. Not universally, but there’s definitely a trend.

Hmmm…Sophia, Lydia, Nadia. Wow, having written these, I just noticed that the “-dia” part of all these names sounds like “Do ya?” Very odd.

I find myself drawn to Biblical names, but I don’t associate them with being Biblical (or Jewish, which, being Old Testament, they are also frequently Jewish names) as much as i associate them with being sort of “old West”, which is not a particularly attractive era to me or anything. I also like the letter Z in names:

Names, as a manifestation of femininity, are almost _too_ seductive to me.
The name Elizabeth works a particular magic on me, especially if a woman prefers it be used in full. It’s such an ancient and regal-sounding name, and yet still so delicate. Other Hebrew names that speak to me are Sarah, Susan, Leah, Rachel, Rebecca.
Names built around L- and S- sounds are silvery whispery sighs: Laura, Lisa, Melissa, Ellen, Alison, Emily.
J-names are warm-sounding, true-blue and homey: Jennifer, Janice, Jane, Jean. Pair J with an L- or S-sound, like Julie or Jessica, and I’m immediately attracted.
I don’t respond so well to B- or D-names for some reason. Denise, Danielle, Diana seem like they carry baggage - perhaps they remind me of divas or duchesses. Barbara, Brenda, Brittany, Bonnie sound like bouncing baby bundles.

Anyway, I find the name Ashley very attractive. I think it may be because that’s what my parents would have named me if I was a girl.
I also like Amy, Bailey, Cassey, Emily, and Sarah.

Sarah, with an ‘H’, huge hardon.
Sara without an ‘H’ I might need extenze to reach the urinal.
Sonja I always thought was a great name.
Anything on 90210, Blechhh.
I’m having a tough time with Marie, one screwed me into the ground emotionally and financially, this one has me magically intrigued.

Wow, me and my sister have already been mentioned here…right next to each other, as a matter of fact! (Not in the “unattractive” lists, I should add. 🙂 )
I just want to chime in and say I like simple, classic men’s names that aren’t too “hard” sounding. The list of Biblical names above is nice, too.

I never thought I had a preference, but when I first started dating my husband, whenever I told anyone about him, they agreed that his name sounded like someone I’d be into. Even my ex-boyfriend, when told his name, said, “You _would_ date a guy named \_\_\_\_\_, wouldn’t you.”
