Over a week ago, Nicholas D. Kristof, a NY Times columnist offered prizes for a good name for the current/former war in Iraq. Today, he announced the winners. I wouldn’t be the least surprised if some of them are regular SDMB contributors. Winston Churchill wanted WW II to be called “The Unnecessary War”, because of the ease with which it could have been prevented. If he had gotten his way, then we would currently be in UW II. ---
