My guess it was just Person X versus the CIA. Ooooooooooo, intrigue. Yet another dumb political ad. These ads almost always suck. They usually have ad guys with almost no talent doing these things. Add the lack of talent to no time and no budget for production and this is the nonsense you get. No doubt they were thrilled with themselves because they were able to make it look a little better than most by appropriating the Bond iconography. ---

Me, I just flat don’t like her, like I feel about Hillary. But as well as my visceral reaction (which counts for squat, or ought to), she and Hillary represent the triangulated, Clintonized, Republican Lite philosophy. She is, by accounts, a very skilled politician and one to be feared if not loved. By comparison to Sen. Reid (D-Jellyspine), that’s a plus. That Pubbies hate her right down to her coral-toned toes, that’s another. She’ll do, is all. And if she goes, we can elect Barney Frank Speaker. If for no other reason than to hear the heads explode like popcorn popping at max. ---

Nancy Pelosi??? The United States Representative for essentially all of the City and County of San Francisco? The Nancy Pelosi who was Phil Burton’s protoge?? The Nancy Pelosi who was the party chair for the Democratic Party in Northern California?? The Nancy Pelosi who is and has been Barbara Boxer Lite??? The same Nancy Pelosi that got a rating of, what, 3 from the ACU?? The only reason anyone should think Nancy Pelosi isn’t fairly liberal is that she’s pursued a program of rational politics as a Democratic Party leader on the Hill. If a left-winger doesn’t like her for that reason, that’s just plain stupid. If she had espoused truly liberal positions at the expense of practicality all the time, she would never have made Speaker. As it is, she’s a heck of a lot more liberal than someone like Gephardt was. And between her and Di Fi, I know which is the moderate. :eek: ---

Y’know, my computer doesn’t do streaming video well, and I do Republican craziness worse, so please explain how equating Rep Pelosi with Ms Galore, whom I recall as a very attractive young lady with a flexible orientation, could be anything but complimentary, though inaccurate? ---
