People have been harassing people queued up for vaccines at schools and clinics. We have had people picketing the home of our town Board of Health chairperson because she has been promoting vaccination. The fact that you have somehow managed to avoid not only encountering this in real life but in new reports as well, frankly beggars belief. ---

Yes, I personally know people who want to get vaccinated but are afraid to because of family members who will go ballistic, possibly even resort to violence if they do. And in a more nuanced case mothers who are afraid to get their kids vaccinated because the fathers who couldn’t give two shits about the kids welfare otherwise will break out the shotguns or baseball if they find out the kid got the COVID vaccine. And I live in one of the most vaccine friendly states in the nation, with the #1, #2 or #3 highest vaccination rate, depending on how you rank them. And you said no one is opposed to vaccines, not that no one is resorting to violence to prevent others from getting vaccinated. ---
