# NASCAR is fake! I have proof

I realize this is a 20 year old thread but NASCAR stands for National Association of Stock Car **AUTO** Racing. The OP is null and void.

Now that this has been moved to the right subforum (a place nonexistent 21 years ago), I’ll comment on the recent Daytona 500, the last NASCAR race I will ever watch.

Between the clone cars, bogus planned yellows, the deadly dull action, and the incompetence of the personality-less drivers (leading to two ridiculous multi car wrecks at the end of the race), it may not be fake, but it is a sad shadow of what it once was.
