We are a family of longtime Gibbs Racing fans, and given our proximity to his parent’s house (and hometown), it wouldn’t surprise me to see him gravitate toward Denny Hamlin. I am going to try not to influence him though, because I think it will be neat to see who he ends up following on his own. We live within a mile of Richmond International Raceway and attend all of the races so he will be exposed pretty early on. Also, he has a kart waiting for him when he gets old enough, so he will be able to compete if he wants. I’m certainly looking forward to it, no matter what he decides. 😃
