Okay, last year’s Nashvegas Dopefest wasn’t exactly the greatest (no drunken orgies [heck, not even a sober one!], no trips downtown in the back of a patrol car, or marshal law being declared), but it was at least nice to be able to put a face to the name. Anybody wanna give it another shot? (Hey, look at it this way, if it turns out to be a little dull, we can always go over to **hillbilly queen** ’s place and chase squirrels!) ---

No using the 101st Club this time. I was embarassed. I screwed up, mostly because the management/prices had changed in the 2 years since I last went there. Also, I apologise to all concerned if I shot my mouth off too much. My bad. :o :smack: But, yes to the meet. ---

Wow, Calliope is eally excited about Nashdope it seems 🙂 No one speaks for Max Carnage but Max Carnage! But **diku’s** right, I’d be there. Don’t these things normally take place at a bar or something? Like a Hooters or someplace with a big open space? (like the gals that work at Hooters?) ---

Personally, I don’t care where we have it. (However, if everyone votes to have it at my place, I’ll need help making it presentable beforehand.) I presume that a Saturday or Sunday would be best for everyone? ---

Okay, it looks like 8/10 is out. Anyone have an objection to moving it to later in the month (say the following weekend)? I can’t make it if it’s before then. (I’m cash strapped at the moment and probably won’t be getting close to solvent until then.) I also can’t make it any other day than a Saturday or a Sunday. ---

Well, it looks like [OKiDope](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=128129) (Ohio, Kentucky, indiana) will be the weekend of 16 August, so I can’t make it then, but if you do a later weekend I’ll try and get down there. ---

I’ll be out of town the last weekend of the month, but of course I know you can’t plan it around me. I think the best thing to do is to pick a date,and those who can come can come,and those who can’t can’t. You’ll never find a date that works for everyone. ---
