Surprise, surprise, the New Libraryā€™s a pretty sophisticated place from what I understand. I know the guy who cast the decorations for the massive front door and theyā€™re pretty impressive to say the least. ---

Iā€™ve only ever been to a couple of other Dopefests, but wouldnā€™t we be getting ā€œshooshedā€ all the time if we were in a library/museum sort of setting? ---

I thought perhaps **The New Main Library** was one of those cutesy names for a bar or restaurant, as in **The Office**. You know, ā€œHoney, Iā€™ll be working late at **The Office** tonight.ā€\*\* šŸ˜ƒ Since Iā€™ve never been to one of these things, Iā€™ll just let yā€™all do the planning , okay? šŸ˜ƒ Quasi ---

Okay, since no oneā€™s posted any other suggestions for a meeting place, our choices are: **diku** ā€™s Hooters The New Main Library Bongo Java Cafe Coco South Street and Samā€™s Place Letā€™s hear some opinions folks, yeaā€™s/nays or maybeā€™s! Ok, I gotā€™s no real response, except that they all seem like fine places, and since I know _nothing_ about Nashville itā€™s all the same to me. I donā€™t even understand the quibble about the NW and NE being so far apart (how big is this town?) ---

The problem is that they donā€™t know how to make a highway a straight shot in this town. So if youā€™re in the wrong part of the state and one to get somewhere, you have to drive _waaaaay_ out of your way to get where it is you want to go (unless, of course, you _like_ driving two lane roads that are clogged with farmers on their tractors). ---

Well, I wasnā€™t going to say anything because Iā€™m still not sure if Iā€™ll be able to make it. (Depending on the time, Iā€™ll hafta convince the boss to work part of Saturday instead of me šŸ™‚ ) But Iā€™d veer towards Cafe Coco or the Library merely on the basis that I can get to either one by bus and I know where they are. ---

I say Samā€™s Place looks like a winnerā€“they have the most varied menu, too. Bongo Java says they donā€™t accomodate groups well, and Iā€™m not into an all seafood place like South Street, but this is all just my opinion. Anyhooā€“a big vote for Samā€™s.
