Over the last several weeks I’ve had several phone calls (usually midnight - 2 am so I missed them, not that I would have answered) with no message left, and during the last week had several texts. All along the lines of “yo sexy, hope ur keeping my in ur mental, blah blah.” (I’ve deleted them all at this point.)

The third text I got was on Saturday, so I thought I’d let this person know he (or she but I figured he) had a wrong number. I texted back “wrong number, dude.” There followed a brief interaction in which I assured the person I was not a thick, hot redbone he had met at a gas station and that furthermore I absolutely did not give my cell number to some dude fueling up in a red Grand Prix. In one of the last texts he sent he said, basically, “I wouldn’t have your number if you hadn’t given it to me.”

I probably should have continued to ignore his texts. Since Saturday I have been getting several photos a day of him masturbating. Well, that’s a guess - after the first two I’ve been deleting them unopened. I deleted three today. Perhaps those were of puppies and flowers.

Really, it’s sort of gross. I hope he stops soon. Every time I hear the “bing” for a new email or text message I hold my phone at arm’s length and if it’s a message from this person I quickly bring up the options-delete screen.

It crossed my mind that for a few bucks he could probably get my information from the number but my sense is this is just a general, opportunistic loser hoping to get a rise out of someone.

But still. Ewwww.

My phone lets me block texts from certain senders. I take it yours does not. In that case, I’d have someone very scary-sounding call him pretending to be your husband. Might not work, but then again, might.

I’m sorry you’re being put through this. ☹

Possible solutions:
Call your service provider and ask them to block the number.
Check with your state’s Attorney General to see if there’s a cyberstalking (or “cyberharrassment”) law that covers this situation and file a complaint with the police (don’t delete the messages, as they may be needed for evidence).
Try to find out who the caller’s provider is and complain to that company.
Even if there’s no cyberstalking law in your state, try texting the pervert that you are filing charges against him for cyberstalking.

Best of luck!

I think that’s unlikely. He probably got fake-numbered. A good move on the woman’s part, apparently, but you’re getting the fallout now.

You could just send him a text like error code 14 number not found, otherwise, I’d just look to see how to block his number.

Nah, just don’t answer it for a month, then, if it’s still going on, get a very male friend to take your phone for a week or so, and act very excited at the possibility of hot gay sex action arriving on his brand new phone number.

Hell, if I lived in your area code, I’d do it.

In one of my brief texts to him I said he’d probably been given a fake number by this chick at a gas station. Apparently he has a pretty high self-esteem because that was when he responded “If I have your phone number, it’s because you gave it to me:”

I realise now I should not have responded at ALL, not ever.

The good thing is, I haven’t had a text from him since about 3 pm.

If I get any more between now and tomorrow morning I will call my provider and block his number. What a douche!

Send him pictures of your poop. Ask him if he likes it.

I’d probably either tell him to knock it off or I’m taking the illicit/unsolicited pics to the police (BTW, I’d stop deleting everything on the off chance that it does escalate) OR I’d start messing with him. Ask him to meet you somewhere 45 minutes away tonight then call it off a few minutes before the meeting time. Tomorrow, pick a different location somewhere else and call it off after you know he’s already on his way. If he doesn’t give up after a few days maybe tell him your boyfriend found the text messages and the pictures and you can’t do it anymore.

Other then that, I kinda liked the idea of replying with a fake error message. Maybe sending one more message saying “That’s fucking it, I’m getting my number changed” then about an hour later replying to all messages with the error message.

Or, just ignore them, they’ll stop eventually,

I wonder what would happen if someone decided to create a website with, say, wang pictures somebody else started sending to their phones, unsolicited.

Or, say, post wang pics to craigslist with his phone number attached.

I’m just asking questions here. I’m not suggesting someone register his phone number as a domain name and then post the pictures that site. That might be immoral or something.

Or “here’s a link to some sexy shots of me” and then it links to the video of that guy that died after the horse fucked him.

…but blocking the number is probably the best way.

That’s really weird, especially since you don’t know who it is. I would assume it to be drunk texting because of the hours, but that doesn’t explain how this person got your number.

I would just block the number if possible. That would be the easiest solution. Still, that’s really creepy.

As others have said, and it sounds right to be, he was probably hitting on someone and they gave him a fake number and said “here call me later” so he’d go away.
As for the odd hours, I’m guessing he’s leaving a bar and looking for a booty call.

Contact your service provider and see if they can do anything. If he’s sending you unsolicited photos of a sexual nature they may have a solution. Don’t try to retaliate, it may make the situation worse. I’d stop deleting them, but of course don’t open them. Ignoring them may work too, but if it doesn’t the phone company may help.

Well, no texts from “Lil Chris” since about 4:30 pm yesterday so hopefully he’s given up trying to get a rise out of me, as it were.

The notions of sending him poop photos or saying the phone belongs to my minor child are intriguing but I would have been extra-squicked out if that increased his ardor! I will find out from my service provider how to block a number, though.

Something similar exists. Example: [818-486-9138 / 8184869138](http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-818-486-9138)

One _could_ post the pix as one’s avatar on such a site. Not that **I** would recommend one do that. 😃

I thought about posting something to one of those “who called me” sites!
But it appears he’s decided I’m not the hottie he was hoping for because he appears to have stopped with the shenanigans.
