I think Gallup’s complaint about freeloading aggregators would carry more weight if it were made by a polling organization who actually added value to the election polling this year. As DSeid noted, after this election cycle it is hard to see what would be lost if Gallup disappeared off the planet
I discovered this site just before the first debate and followed the analysis here closely. I learned a lot and developed a greater appreciation for Nate’s work. Also, I was much more relaxed and confident election night, compared to my buddies who’d relied on punditry instead of Nate. Thanks, SDMB Election Geektroids! xox
