I just discovered that today is National Dessert day here in the US. 😛 What is your favorite dessert? Mine is strawberry shortcake with lot’s of whipped cream on top! Yummy. ---

Yummy. Key Lime Pie, if it’s made right (i.e., no gelatin, just condensed milk, egg yolks, and lime juice). Chocolate chip cookies, no matter how they’re made. I’ve never met a chocolate chip cookie I didn’t like. ---

A napoleon or chocolate upside-down cake would be neck and neck for favorite dessert. Oh yeah, pecan pie too. Love the one you’re with. 😛 ---

I’m voting for a brownie sundae: a nice warm brownie with a scoop of ice cream on top. Covered with chopped nuts and caramel sauce. ---

Hard to pick, but I think it’s got to be that old standby, chocolate cake. Dark and rich and moist, with a dark chocolate buttercream frosting. ---

Strawberry rhubarb pie with a streusel topping. Or apple & cape gooseberry crisp. (If you can get good cape gooseberries, that is. They are starting to be more available but the ones imported from Chile are pretty flavorless.)
