# National emergencies, the wall, and Trump. How will this likely go down?

I think that would depend on where Trump tries to confiscate the money. He’s pulling it from various other state projects that Congress already approved. The Congresspeople who are losing that money for this stupid wall are not going to be enthused about it.

Good idea. Build a Potemkin Wall about 100 feet long, install some mirrors to make it look like it goes on forever, and show it to Individual 1. Tell him that the wall is done.

He’ll be happy, and his band of deporables will believe him.

Then give him two scoops of ice cream and some beautiful chocolate cake, and send him off to watch his TV shows.

Even that is wasted effort. Borrow from Andersen: throw a huge gala celebration at the border dedicated to “The President’s New Wall,” and hope like hell that some little brat doesn’t shout out that there’s nothing there.
