“Let us be clear: armed soldiers should not be policing American citizens on American soil,” D.C. Attorney General Brian L. Schwalb wrote on a post on X Tuesday morning…

Gov. Laura Kelly of Kansas, chair of the Democratic Governors Association, issued a statement Tuesday urging fellow governors to “reject the temptation to use their soldiers to reinforce a dangerous, politically motivated agenda."

“Our Guardsmen and women enlist to serve when needed in the case of domestic disasters, to ensure the public’s safety and to protect national security,” Kelly said. “To deploy them to another jurisdiction, without the request and consent of that state’s governor — or, in this case, the local authorities of Washington, D.C. — undermines the mission of the National Guard, wastes resources needed for real emergencies, and, perhaps worst of all, adds to the divisiveness that already threatens our United States.”

My bold.

Things are changing.

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth said in a statement today from the Pentagon that the 2,000 National Guard members stationed in Washington, D.C., will begin to carry weapons.

I just had a hunch and did a quick google search. Found a place called the platinum club near Dupont Circle.

I can see how the burning of the Reichstag could have motivated patriotic Germans, but how enthused are these Guardsmen with the mission of avenging Big Balls? Good God.

Big Balls Lied.

Now there’s a challenge for Weird Al!
