Yeah, there’s no way the 360 (how lame is that name?) will be backward compatible. That’s what I meant by shelling out hundreds of bucks for a two month window.
Thanks for the clarification on the triggers. Working R2 to make the QB look at the RB and then hitting R1 to actually throw to the RB was reported as being an awkward setup.
I’m more confused over the way they rearranged some of the buttons. Triangle used to be for throwing the ball away, now that is a reciever button. There used to be an “X” reciever button but that is nowhere to be seen. I had 14 days of playing time on the old Madden, and all the commands had become second nature to me, now it’s almost like playing a totally different game, only just enough buttons are the same so as to screw with my hand eye coordination. Oh well, I beat the Steelers last night 28-0 with my Redskins, so I haven’t totally lost it. I’m still pissed they gained 90 yards on me though.
By the way, the whole Xbox hater thing wasn’t directed at you, it was more of an general gripe. I kinda like the Xbox, and many of the games look great, but I can’t help but be pissed the way they are screwing their existing and future customers. I would bitch the same if Sony did it that too, so it’s not a MS thing.
