They are neat critters.

When I lived in Panamá they were as common as raccoons in the eastern USA. IOW, in your trash everywhere. Fun to watch, pretty much harmless but akin to racoons in their smartness and dexterity and love of getting into human’s stuff.

Good luck getting a real sighting soon.
