I am doing a little happy dance. LOL I came in 2nd place in the board games feud! Naturally, **Swampy** was the winner - he seems to have the pulse of the feud players, I guess. šŸ˜ƒ I really did enjoy playing though. Thanks, **Rebo** too for all the work you do on those things!! And itā€™s three down, two to go. šŸ™‚ I wish weā€™d had an ice cream social at work, but I donā€™t think itā€™s going to happen. ---

Whew - finally a chance to mump. I came home intending to mow, but the battery was deadā€¦ againā€¦ so I charged it up, dumped the last of the gas in the tank, and got the grass cut. The ditch still needs some push-mowering, but Iā€™m not doing that today. I got that done about the time to feed the zoo, and once I took care of them, I had to feed me. (corn on the cob - ice cream later - I didnā€™t feel like cooking much) and I wrapped a dozen chickie tits for the freezer. Anyway, now Iā€™m done and free to chill. \*\*FCD \*\*said theyā€™ll probably let his dad go home today. The heart-scoping thing they did this morning didnā€™t show any problems, so they just wanted to have an infection evaluation done. I expect theyā€™ll call when heā€™s home. BIL has also been sent home with meds till his kidney stone passes - poor guy :eek: So medically, things are looking up hereabouts. Yay. Donā€™t let \*\*swampy \*\*fool you. Heā€™s not gay. Heā€™s just a weird old geezer who likes to mess with peopleā€™s minds. When he refers to olā€™-you-know-who, heā€™s actually talking about a ratty stuffed tiger he won at a fair when he was 7 or 8. Now that I think about it, heā€™s more of an elderly, pathetic participant in a bizarro Calvin-and-Hobbes-esque fantasy. šŸ˜ƒ ---

I canā€™t believe I didnā€™t think to buy ice cream, except that I rarely buy it because I will then eat it. But now I have the perfect excuse to eat it! After all, itā€™s cold, and itā€™s easy to eat, which is good since my jaw is sore, and then thereā€™s all that nice dairy in it, right? šŸ™‚ Perhaps I will pick some up tomorrow as a reward for being damn good and getting through yesterday. ---

Mmmmā€¦ice cream. I think that will be dessert. Iā€™m having a potato with greek yogurt and herbs. Should really have something else non-sweet, but I just donā€™t feel like it. And, isnā€™t there a rule about all Mumpers stocking ice cream at all times? I think itā€™s up there with the TP supply rule. Sorry about the spare cat and boxer, **Bobbio**. Glad that FCDā€™s dad might get to go home. Iā€™m sure that will help speed his recovery. Hope your dad feels better really quickly too, **Dotty**. Mom has arthritis in her foot. Sheā€™s got an appointment set at the end of the month and has to wait until then to find out more. Personally, I am feeling better now. Mostly because I finally made it to TVLand at about 8 this evening.šŸ™‚ ---

Vertigo treatment didnā€™t take. I have a repeat performance this afternoon at 1:30. This calls for a large **blurf** , but I canā€™t seem to manage it. This staycation has been pretty much a 1 on a scale of 1 to 10 where 1=major suckitude and 10=best evah! ā˜¹ I guess it could be way worse. Rosieā€™s sig to all and sundry. ---

Something in my kitchen smells like _bad_ fish. And I canā€™t find it. Itā€™s not the refrigerator. Itā€™s not the dishwasher. Itā€™s not the garbage can. Itā€™s not the garbage disposal. Itā€™s not the pantry. Itā€™s just sort of in the air. Yuck! I really really want to find the source and eliminate it. The blister from my burn from last weekend has completely deflated (without popping). Itā€™s now just sort of saggy skin on my thumb. It feels weeeeeeeird. But kinda cool really. Iā€™m going to be disappointed when the dead skin falls off. Sounds like thereā€™s a need for {{{MMP}}}. ---

Gā€™morninā€™! I had a second mug of coffee today, thatā€™s how blurfy I was. Last night, my bathroom had a flood from above - it was the apartment two floors above, which is now vacant. I donā€™t know what the bathroom directly above us looks like, but suspect their damage was worse than ours. ā˜¹ On top of that, we couldnā€™t reach anyone at the emergency contact number for our apt. complex, and the folks upstairs called the Fire Dept. in desparation. So, firemen were trotting up and down stairs in my building till nearly 1 am, and they checked out the water damages in our apt. about 12:45 am. Clean up (about an inch of water in the bathroom and down the hall; 1/2 inch in part of the kitchen) took until nearly 3 am. Made me want to scream, but it wouldnā€™t have done any good. Sending more healing thoughts to **Rosie** and **Puggy** as well.
