The guy was driving an SUV in San Francisco while smoking. I’m suprised they didn’t say his tires were made out of baby Seal skins. ---

Used to be, since one couldn’t smoke in elevators, there were ashtrays on the wall or floor next to said elevators. Same with theatres-can’t smoke in there, so ashtrays were provided in the lobby. But apparently, that wasn’t good enough. Even ashtrays at building entrances have been removed, although people might want to smoke, get ready for it, OUTSIDE! I know this is a losing battle, but get real. If there are no ashtrays anywhere, where is one supposed to deposit cigarette butts? BTW, please take your threats elsewhere. Just sayin’ ---

Just sayin’ Whose responsibility is it to provide a receptacle for your litter? Why is the lack of an ashtray in a car justification for littering? Perhaps people who have no place to deposit cigarett butts shoud not produce cigarette butts. When I walk my dog I take along a baggie to pick up his shit, I do not complain about the lack of outdoor dog toilets. Why can you not be responsible for your own mess? And it aint a threat, it’s a promise. ---

Well, perhaps I misread “I’d be pretty suprised if…” in that post. I figured some actual information would be handy. I’m not sure why that information pisses you off exactly, since “ashtrays are optional” certainly doesn’t equal “litter at will!” but you enjoy your heapin helpin of outrage over there. ---
