Some years ago up in a mountain pass in the Scottish Highlands, I heard a bagpiper playing what sounded very much like “Deutschland, Deutschland über Alles” and wondered if there were a traditional Scots folk song with a similar melody. Nope–that was what he was playing. A German tourist had tipped him and made a special request. Probably not the same guy. ---
