NBA home & road uniforms question

It was around 1970 the NHL required home teams to wear white, for the reason about laundry for road teams that you mentioned. One reason why they switched it back was the popularity of fans wearing jerseys to games. You look at a film of a game in the 1970s and very few fans wore hockey jerseys. Hugely popular today…I am dumb enough to have bought them. Fans prefer dark colors because stains don’t show up as much. I wouldn’t be surprised if getting a few to buy new jerseys is a reason also…Gary Bettman is slimy enough for that.

Is there a college football team other than LSU that wears white at home?

Georgia Tech (at least they did a few years ago, if not to this day)

Is there a college basketball team that wears dark colored uniforms at home? Some teams, like my alma mater Kent State, whose colors are blue and gold, have been known to wear gold unis at home.

Oklahoma State has Black, Orange, or White unis.

They’ll wear orange at home and away if they get the chance, depending on what the opponent has.

Depends on what you consider dark. Michigan has worn maize at home.
